The plumber cometh…

Standard

I have been working on being positive, something I have been known for in the past, and wish to perpetuate in the future!  So I found another way to appreciate my former spouse.  He was handy!  He could fix things!  I cannot.

When I moved into my tiny house last April, my kitchen faucet was drippy.  I was able to stop the drip by wiggling the handle, and that worked for a few months.  Then my tub faucet became drippy.  I got a screwdriver, and tightened a screw.  That stopped the drip for another few months, periodically.

Finally the wiggling and the tightening were no longer effective, and I called a plumber.  Literally, he was here for less than 30 minutes, replaced the sink seal in seconds, and the tub seals in minutes, and I was writing him a check for $98.  That is when I appreciated another favorable aspect of my former spouse.  He was handy.   I am thinking about taking a class in simple plumbing.

About Horton Hears Herself

Here I am, listening to myself for the first time in my life! I like what I am hearing, most of the time. This time of listening to myself, discovering myself, and learning how to have my dream life is a rocky path with surprises, good and bad.
